Male model penury
If you're an interesting and/or good-looking specimen of the male sex and would like to show off your modelling skills, SHOWstudio might be looking for you in collaboration with stylist Simon Foxton and photographer Jason Evans. As a matter of principle, the casting is carried out through casting boxes at SHOWstudio's Fashion Revolution exhibition
(closes today) - but if you cannot make it there (probably...), have a look at what they want you to send them
and do so by emailing your portfolio to feedback at showstudio dot com.

about the history of bodywear, corsages and bodices, at the Stadtmuseum Wiener Neustadt. With contributions from the Herbststraßen school complex.

Annie Leibovitz @ Kunsthaus Wien
2009|10|30 - 2010|01|31
What a good thing that the extensive Annie Leibovitz retrospective entitled A photographer's life 1990 - 2005
now finally hits Viennese ground at the Kunsthaus museum, for it will be a good occasion to familiarise ourselves with an instructive cross section of her quite epoch-making work. And it will make us forget about all the ghastly headlines we've seen recently, always aiming to shed light on the financial turmoil the great Rolling Stone and Vanity Fair contributor had been experiencing. So, talking about the exhibition: Absolutely worth a visit.

Okay, this competition will probably not get you into fashion heaven. But should you feel like expressing your views about (a) the Vienna University, (b) life as a student or (c) Vienna - Austria - Europe in the form of a t-shirt design, here you go... Detailed information about criteria for submissions etc. are on the designbystudents website,
deadline for submissions is November 15.
Yes, that's correct: Powershop, not the image editing software... Gestalten Verlag recently brought out this massive anthology
