Showing that these exquisite pieces were sometimes anything but utilitarian, this exhibit will make you lust for an over the top decorative piece of your own!

Totem and Taboo
2011|10|01 - 2011|11|20
Concentrating on contemporary art and design, this exhibition is about exploring the conventions deeply engraved into the two disciplines. Inspired by Sigmund Freud’s collection of essays entitled ‘Totem and Taboo
’, the curators of the exhibit are cleverly using the psychoanalytical concept in describing the relationship between art and design in modernity. Questioning the boundaries and limitations and delving into the depths of art and design, this is what we define as a healthy exhibition therapy!
