AWAY - Stories from Abroad

A true visual catalogue of the The Austrian Federal Chancellery residencies through the years.

AWAY is a project around residencies showcasing the renowned international residency programme of The Austrian Federal Chancellery on a large scale for the first time. The AWAY exhibition presents art resulting from the temporary re-location of 106 artists outlining the chronology of their destinations and the 1,200 grants awarded since 1985. Apart from concrete works created by artists who received grants in the past three years, there is a think tank dedicated to theoretical reflections on the project and makes room for a discussion. Make a visit to the great location and take in the 4 floors of displays!
