Supporting the strong bond between illustration and fashion in our day and age, #FINAESTAMPA_ showcases the work of the twenty-two artists who prove that there is no boundary between art and illustration. Being able, and free, to create their own language, these artists do not share one common technique or characteristic. Some of them work in pencil, others with the digital brush, others with watercolor; but in all of these cases, the result is an attractive, elegant and unique image, that is, a ‘fine stamp”. #FINAESTAMPA_ synthesizes a precise moment, that of fashion illustration in the second half of the 21st century, through aesthetic and technical works that are being created during this time.

Thanks to the digital revolution and the social networks, fashion illustration is currently experiencing an unprecedented boom. Instagram has been essential in the path to success of many of the artists presented here.

The exhibition also serves as a homage to the personal history of each of the twenty-two presenting artists. Theirs are incipient stories, but already well appraised ones, with others that refer to the masters of illustration. Nevertheless, all of them, emerging and well established, are drawing and promoting the golden story of this discipline. And all of this, without filters and without selfies

Following the Madrid showcase, #FINAESTAMPA_ moves on to the prestigious  Cristóbal Balenciaga Museoa at Getaria, continuing to highlight the glorious moment that fashion illustration is experiencing today.
