A month of photographical focus in the city bringing an array of events to the public
The FOTO WIEN festival descends to Vienna for the first time, bringing an array of intriguing and wonderful talents to the fore during all the exhibitions and events. More than 100 partners in the programme will be teaming up to explore the diversity and potential of the local photography scene. The new festival hopes to provide inspiration, as well as a cultural experience through the exhibitions, and foster an international discussion on the big topic of photography. The exhibitions are complemented by workshops, portfolio reviews, lectures and much more, so check the programme, and visit!
FOTO WIEN is a member of the European Month of Photography (EMOP), which also includes photography festivals in Athens, Berlin, Bratislava, Budapest, Ljubljana, Luxemburg and Paris.
