Three weeks of summer courses, two exhibitions, and a market at the Haslach Symposium 2018
One of our favourite summer events is the annual TEXTIL KULTUR HASLACH Symposium, comprising of a three week long course laden with workshops on themes such as hat making, machine weaving, pattern making and many many more, inviting great teachers, instructors, and professionals to lead the unique handworking classes. As always, complemented by two exhibitions opening in late July- The Blue Wonder and Textilistan, the second of which is mapping textiles from faraway lands of Kashmir from the 18th century to the present time through the Aichhorn collection. And of course, joined by the famous Weavers’ Market taking place over two days, presenting the work of some wonderful artists and craftsmen. Why not make a summer vacation out of it?
